The light shines in the darkness: it is saying that God is still shining in dark places like hell. Hell hasn't defeated the light. I coloured the cross in purple - it is the colour of royalty, and God is the king. To me this drawing is very personal and the verse is may favourite in the Bible. In almost every aspect of my life I can see God shining, even in places that might to me seem dark. The light shines in the Darkness, and the light is not overcome. John 1:5.
