A NATRE project to link creativity with Religious Education for schools
Searching for God
Praying I started thinking about praying and then began to think about people who pray. I am interested in the time of the Crusades so I decided to set my picture in that era. I imagine that the man in the picture is a holy assassin. He is deep in prayer, praying for forgiveness for the sin of taking human life. He is wearing the robes of his religious order. White to represent the purity of their holy cause, red to represent the blood they have spilled. |
