Searching for God

Priya (12)

Where do we look for an invisible being? How do you search for what can not be proven?

I would like to share my vision of justifying the existence of an invisible being by using three different examples of my belief.

1. A candle will hold a light and when this is used to light further candles the same flame is shared amongst other candles that are also then able to shed the light.

2. A water bug starts it's life in a river. It knows at a certain stage of it's life it will spend some time in a cocoon. The transformation taking place amazingly transforms the water bug into a dragon fly. Throughout the water bug's earlier life it has been puzzled as to where the other water bugs end up after opening from the cocoon.
Little does the water bug know that once it is transformed into a dragon fly, it will be unable to dive into the water to tell it's friends. It knows that one day each water bug will have the opportunity to experience new life outside the water. Presently even though the water bug knows there is still life after it's time in the cocoon, it cannot prove it.

3. Different faiths and cultures around the world all believe in a superior spirit. It is my belief different people around the world all have some sort of faith for an existence of superior power, beyond our human knowledge. Therefore I am of the opinion there is a truth in this widespread understanding there has to be truth in this.

In the 21st century technology has advanced so much that we seek evidence for everything we read or hear. It is still challenging to prove there is a superior being.

Just like we cannot prove there is another world outside until it has experienced this in reality.
