Searching for God

The theme for my artwork is "Searching for God". However, I've focused on God finding the people that need him.

The main part of my picture shows an anonymous postcard on top of an envelope covered in used stamps with words from a prayer. Items of post can be related to prayers to God. A large cardboard package, for example, could be the many prayers of victims of a natural disaster or genocide. A smaller enveloped package could be the prayers of parents whose children have gone to war. A postcard could be the prayer of a son or daughter whose parents are getting divorced.

All of these people are sending their messages to God; all of them need miracles. God will answer your messages when you need him the most. It is much easier for Him to find you than it is for you to find Him. It puts prayers in a different perspective, while allowing them to keep their meaning and importance.
