Unity in Diversity: Our Vision
Ben & Dilpreet (13)

We, Ben (Pentecostal Christian) and Dilpreet (practicing Sikh) did this piece together. Our vision is called 'Unity in Diversity'.

We are saying that accept everyone is different with differing beliefs and views, but that we can still unite as people and friends. On the right we have the Sikh symbol of the Khanda and the words of the Ik Onkaar: the main Sikh beliefs. On the left we have the 'ichthus' symbol and the words of John 3v16, which is a summary of what Christians believe.

Hands reach out across the picture, a sign of people working together. The cross and the Ik Onkaar unite a desire for peace, symbolised by the dove. This is our vision. The uniting of all faiths, races and personalities to bring peace - at the same time allowing people to explore and keep their own special beliefs.
