Open Minds

Embrace the World
Elliott (11)
Devon

I have taken a person's head and opened their mind (Of course, it was not a real head). Words and pictures, what people think about, come out of the mind. Normally these are jumbled and squashed: religion, science, nature, time, and space. In my sculpture, I have spaced out his thoughts, leaving room for new ideas. Being open minded helps you to embrace the world.

Two of the main things in the sculpture are religion and science. We must listen to both different ideas of how the world is and why it came to be. God, science, the big bang, evolved from apes: as the sculpture is open minded, so should we be. Think from a different perspective. See through the eyes of others.
