Open Minds

Open Minds
Jackson (14)

I have used man, whose brain is pouring out ideas of what open mindedness might represent, such as the acceptance of different genders, races and religions.

Below him is darkness, because I believe that until we can learn to embrace everyone and everything is the world, we can never be fully enlightened.

If everybody could learn to be more tolerate of other people and their beliefs, like the man in my picture, then the world would be a much better place to live in. The symbols represent: Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Gender-Equality and Race-Equality. I have chosen to out hem on springs so that they stand out of the picture to give a clear meaning to my artwork.
