Questions, Questions
Francis Powell, age 10
Alone in the darkness, I feel the
essence of God.
I think about life, death and the
almighty.
What are they?
What happens when you die?
Is there life after death?
The questions fill my mind and eat
my thoughts.
My gaze seeks the stars in the clear
night sky,
Does one of them represent me?
I rack my brain for information,
I search for evidence and logic
that will answer all the question
marks.
What is beyond the universe?
Too ineffable to describe.
The boundless infinity.
Only a God could create this
immeasurable wonder,
The immense vacuum holding
everything together.
