Debbie is her 6th year of teaching Reception/Year one and has been the RE lead at her school for 5 years. She is enthused by RE and strongly believes that children need a secure understanding to become well-rounded citizens of the world. Debbie believes that RE as a subject allows us to develop a child holistically. She has been involved in the Church School celebration event leading a workshop to share with colleagues across the county. As well as, working closely with the Diocese hosting RE network events, and sharing experiences and successes with others.

Debbie is eager to pass on my skills, attributes, and experience to be part of developing resources for our children and colleagues to use to reinforce and extend their understanding further.

What do you love about RE?

'I love the fact that children don't need a pencil and paper in RE.'
