Kathryn is the Chief Executive of Culham St Gabriel’s Trust which supports and advocates for an education in Religion and Worldviews. After teaching in East London secondary schools, she became a local authority RE adviser before going freelance in 2005. Until April 2019, she worked as a consultant for Culham St Gabriel’s leading the Teach:RE course programme and was also the RE adviser for the Diocese of Norwich. She has enjoyed being a RE Quality Mark assessor and a Section 48 inspector. She is currently on the Board of the RE Council of England and Wales.

What do you love about RE?

'I want young people to understand the religious and non-religious worldviews around them, and to begin to understand the complex world in which they live. I want everyone to be well-informed, open, and respectful in their interactions with others, and RE plays a vital role in contributing to this aim.'
