What do you love about RE?
'I love how RE allows our students to be challenged in their thinking. How it helps them to analyse and critique the range of beliefs they are presented with and develop new ways of thinking about different issues. I love how RE helps students to develop their own self-awareness and understanding of a range of issues. It's particularly fantastic to see so many of our students thrive through the multi-disciplinary approach that is unique to this fantastic subject. RE is the only subject that prepares students to think critically, behave with compassion, and speak respectfully - all of these are essential for them to thrive in the complex world we live in.'
What do you love about NATRE?
'NATRE is an amazing subject association. It provides invaluable support for all RE teachers, regardless of how long they have been teaching. The resources produced are of a high quality and can be readily deployed in any RE teacher toolkit.'
