The Window

I have never considered myself to be particularly religious, however I deeply believe in the idea somebody is constantly looking over us and our souls. This is the main idea behind my artwork, the old church window is representing my faith and the fact someone on the other side is watching and guiding our souls. One of my personal beliefs is that everyone has a guardian angel, giving us signs, and leading us through our life. I feel as though this becomes more apparent when I have been through a particularly tough time, and that life events are not just chance, they were meant to be. I believe we are all constantly learning, being guided and following the map, we just don't know the destination. My drawing of the human heart interprets my idea that the soul is held inside our hearts like a protective shell. We are connected through our souls, and being protected, even if we don't realise.
