Forgiveness
I did a painting of Malala and her vision because I had never heard of Malala and her bravery. I felt inspired and I wanted to know more. Knowing about her standing up for her beliefs made me realise what the rest of the world has to go through just to go to school. It made me realise how privileged we are to have schools that will accept girls and special needed people. Even when she tried to go to school she got shot in the face. She survived this event by getting special treatment in the UK and even now she carries on believing that one day girls in Pakistan will go to school no matter what it took to get the rest of the world to realise what people have to go through to get education. I think that Malala’s vision was not only a vision but a prophecy as she and hopefully the rest of the world will know that one day, in the near future, Malala’s vision will not be a vision any more but life. I chose the title Forgiveness because in a recent interview she said that even if she had the chance to harm the people that shot her on the bus (the Taliban) she wouldn’t because what good would it do to the world. Everything always evens out in the end.
