Big, big questions
Younger children can ask: Why? How? What if? Ask about any religious topic! For older students: How can there be a God in a world of pain? What happens when we die? How do we account for the beauty of the earth? Does science leave no room for faith? Is a human life sacred? Is religion sexist? Is religion dying out? Will religion sweep the world again? This theme asks pupils to take a view about a controversial religious question, to support their ideas with quotes from wise people and to explore it all in a visual masterpiece. Winning work might be about great questions, or about a range of answers.
