Sources of support for RE enthusiasts
The NATRE executive have been discussing how teachers of RE may not be aware of the many different ways in which individuals can develop their passion for RE. We believe that you need to be made aware of all the different opportunities available, beginning with projects targeted and children and young people, moving onto schemes for teachers in their early careers and finally opportunities for leadership or further study.
These different endeavours can all be seen as a means of ‘growing’ teachers of RE and nurturing their talents and complement the core support provided by membership of NATRE, your local group, a regional adviser or consultant and online support including social media.
