SMSC and British Values in RE in the primary school


This dynamic and inspiring one day course for heads, RE subject leaders and other interested teachers will:

  • Provide many full resourced ready to use practical classroom activities for RE and some aspects of the wider curriculum that promote each of the elements of SMSC and British Values.
  • Show how primary schools can respond creatively to OFSTED's inspection requirements for SMSC and British Values.
  • Answer questions about how the ethos and values of the school promote spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and preparation for life in modern Britain for 4-11s.
  • Give teachers confidence to maximise the opportunities for spiritual development.
