A National Plan for RE summarised
This document was produced by the RE Policy Unit (REPU) in collaboration with the REC’s Education Committee. It attempts to summarise the vision for our subject set out in the Commission on RE Final Report including the Statement of Entitlement published in September 2018.
REPU is committed to campaigning to achieve one central aim: To secure high quality education in Religion and Worldviews for all pupils in all schools, taught by well qualified and trained teachers. To this end, we will lobby central government and a wide range of other stakeholders and influencers to work towards this goal.
