Letter from Katie Freeman: Welcoming Angela Hill as Director, and exciting changes ahead
Welcome back to a new academic year! We hope that you are settled back into school life and that term is going well for you.
We have lots of changes going on at NATRE. Our wonderful CEO, Fiona Moss has moved on to her new role at Culham St Gabriel's Trust. We would like to wish Fiona all the best and thank her for everything she has done for NATRE.
NATRE are pleased to welcome Angela Hill as our new Director. Angela has worked with NATRE for some time as editor of REtoday Magazine. We are excited to be working with her more closely and drawing upon her expert knowledge.
We have been thinking carefully about how we can best serve all of our members. With this in mind, we are making changes to the scheduling of our newsletters. We will now be sending a more substantial newsletter once every term, which will be sent to your email inbox after each half-term break. This will complement your NATRE mailing, which you receive in the first half of each term. We hope this new way of working will mean that you receive a greater range of excellent resources and support when they are most needed, and with fewer emails in your inbox. As always, we will ensure that NATRE is led by teachers for teachers, and members of our executive and steering group will be active in crafting these newsletters so that the news and materials are truly classroom-focused.
I hope that you all have an excellent term, and as always, please do get in touch with us if you have any questions.
