Strictly Success!

Over 345 teachers and professionals of Religious Education (RE) from across UK attended Strictly RE, NATRE's national conference, on the 25 January 2020 at the Park Inn, Heathrow.

Strictly RE has become a key date in the diary for most RE professionals with the number of attendees growing year on year. The conference is designed to inspire and equip teachers and professionals of RE with knowledge, techniques and interactive and thought provoking seminars, as well as opportunities to collaborate and share best practices with peers.

Keynotes on the day focused on Ofsted inspection and were delivered by Kathryn Wright, CEO, Culham St Gabriel's who discussed 'New perspectives on curriculum intent'. Later in the day this was followed by Ben Wood, Chair of NATRE who spoke about 'Impact and RE - how do we know?'

A key event was the launch of a highly anticipated new publication from RE Today 'Picturing Islam Picturing Muslims': This exceptional picture pack offers 24 picture cards as doorways into the diverse global world of Islam and Muslims.
