Inspiring RE series

This new primary series of nine curriculum books, Inspiring RE, was planned by a group of primary RE subject leaders and published by RE Today services. It is designed to be a series for classroom teachers and subject leaders to help them improve the teaching of RE in their classroom and across the school, and to improve pupils’ subject knowledge as well as their own. You will note that the ‘Background knowledge for teachers’ section clearly lists the knowledge that the teacher needs in order to teach the unit. The publication aims to be considered, insightful and practical as well as engaging and encouraging. The series will be made up of six systematic religion books: Muslims, Living without God, Christians, Sikhs, Jewish people and Hindus. There are a further three books that will take a thematic approach on Inspirational people, Right and wrong and Big questions.
