A level entries for RS in England remain stable over time in England but continue to decline in Wales

Much credit for this result must go to the teachers who have promoted the subject in their schools and helped pupils to see the value of an education in religion and worldviews in the modern world. However, despite teachers’ best efforts, entries in Wales have declined sharply. Specialist teacher shortages there are acute and no doubt exacerbated by the lack of the bursary which is now boosting recruitment in England.
