Removal of the bursary for those training to be secondary teachers of RE

NATRE was very disappointed to read that bursaries for teacher training are to be severely cut for 2021-2022. The table below shows the changes to the availability of bursaries from the current year (Announced on 13 October 2020). We are committed to working with the Council for Subject Associations, NASBTT and UCET on supporting those training to teach, and will use our own contacts to try to address the issues created by this news.
