How to search for RE resources?

  • Filtering options on the left-hand side of this page.
Search by keywords: e.g. 'Eid', 'Easter' etc...(hint: use broad keywords instead of being too specific).
  • 'Generic Filters' on the left helps you find all the resources within this website search by e.g age group, religion, or resource type.
  • 'Publication Type' enables you to find resources linked to all REtoday magazines and Curriculum books.
  • All filters can work together.

ALL resources can be found in the resource library below BUT we also have dedicated areas where you can find the same resources in different ways.

Please note: By clicking on the links above you will be redirected away from this resource library.

Year 5 - How can following God bring freedom and justice? – LP

This is the Learning Pathway from Year 5, Unit 35. Within this unit, pupils will find out about the story of the Exodus, sequencing key events and considering different interpretations. Pupils will make clear connections between Bible texts studied and what Christians believe about how God can help during difficult times and how they should behave. They will explain ways in which some Christians put their beliefs into practice by trying to bring freedom to others. Later in the unit, pupils will investigate the ten commandments, considering why the People of God were given these and what they mean for believers today. This Learning Pathway is part of the RE Today Primary RE Curriculum, accessible only to NATRE Primary and Cross Phase School Enhanced members.
